So,

There was once a man walking in the desert. A voice said, "Pick up some of these rocks."

And so he grabbed a couple and put them in his pocket.

When his journey was over, he looked at the rocks and they had become precious jewels. He was happy he had taken some, but sad that he had not taken more. And one of the rocks had gotten into his shoe, and he had a big blister there. Plus nevermind the fact that he's hearing voices. And the jewels only turned out to be semi-precious, so he went and got himself one of those rock-tumbler things.

And so it is with education.
