Seeing the discussion about the legalisation of marihuana, and being from Holland myself i can only agree with the Space Moose.
But still... It is not legalized here. It is allowed until there is a law that legalizes it. In dutch this is called 'gedogen'. The main reason the law is not there yet is because of the French. They keep complaining about the drugs-trips that are taken to Holland by French people.
Mind me saying that Holland has the lowest drug-addiction rate of entire western europe, and also lower than the USA

Legalising it allows for better control by the government.

No we do not! Recreational drugs are completely Un-American. Why do you think we wage the War on Drugs? Common, decent American Citizens and American Eagles will not sit idly by and allow you to talk about legalizing drugs!
