So I go dancing at the night club I work at, but previously couldn't get into on my off nights, because I just turned 21. I invite a friend of mine along, and have a nice time talking with all the security, babbling about random things, getting free drinks, and generally enjoying the atmosphere. I see my friend is not having a good time, so I take him down to the dance floor, find a group of three girls, and proceed to invade their little dancing circle, dragging my reluctant friend with me. They reciprocate interest in both of us, and a fun time is had by all. The part I don't get, is that when I turn to leave (since my motive was to get my friend to have fun, not to pick up on women) my friend follows me? I stop, turn him around, and direct him back towards the girls who're waving at him to come back and dance with him. He nods, and I turn, and he turns, and FOLLOWS ME AGAIN! Faced with slapping him in the back of the head, and ruining any chance he has left with getting one of these ladies numbers, I turn and lead him back into the den of bosoms. I dance for another five minutes, and tell two of the girls that I'm going to get drinks (So I'm lying, but it's not like I'm going home with them) and that they shouldn't let my friend follow me, because he needs to have a good time. HE STILL FOLLOWS ME! I ask him outright, if he thinks that the chicks aren't his type, a little ugly, or whiny, or whatever. He says no, they're great. "So why are you following ME? Dance with them!" "But they're not giving me a ride home?" Damn right you idiot, not at the rate you're going.
*Sigh* Please Conversatron, free me from my hangover, and the snoring of the idiot who's laying on my couch!
