The basic problem is you can't do a cafepress style setup, that is, order-on-demand for anything but white or ash grey. This is for the simple fact that to do order on demand, you have to use heat transfers. Heat transfers dont contain a solid white background. Print something on black paper through your inkjet one day and you'll see what I mean. about the only thing you can do, that I know of, on black shirts is cheesy iron on lettering, or screenprinting.
