I go to sleep and when I come back it's like most of the topics were updated (because the links weren't you know, you-already-clicked-this-link-colored) but they weren't. What gives? Please not to be prelude for 'Server Problems.'

The color-topic-updating thing is done by changing the hyperlinks, and allowing your browser to do the work of marking already followed links the way it normally does.
So if all your links went 'unread' it most likely because your history was cleared.
Maybe you're surfing for porn in your sleep and don't want yourself to find out.
