Skipped Christmas

My parents said that we aren't going to celebrate Christmas anymore. Is that a practical decision, seeing that we always have before? I think it bites.
They say they don't want to celebrate it because of all the stress involved for everyone. I tried to explain that the spirit of Christmas is to celebrate it whether you hate it or not. Or something like that. Whatever. I still think their idea bites!

Ðrebb, there comes a time in every young man's life where his parents try to tell him something, something perhaps he doesn't want to hear, but it is still very important.

In this case that message is "We hate you, and don't want to waste the time or money on you anymore. We'll celebrate Christmas privately, and enjoy ourselves without your freakish presence."
