The Topic: Age of Kings

Entrails
I was in a heated battle against the computer in Age of Kings, and was within minutes of launching a strike to rescue two (or perhaps three) relics from the enemy's evil clutches.... when suddenly I was dropped to the desktop.

Had the battle progressed without such interference, would I have been successful in retrieving the relics? I, playing the Turks, was planning on landing half a screen north of the monastery with three trebuchets and six cavaliers, while further southwest on the coast, I was going to land about 15 champions, five horse archers, five heavy scorpions, and six monks (to retrieve the relics).

The enemy, playing the Teutons, was going very heavy on monks and paladins, with the regular fast fire ships and cannon galleons to monitor and protect their borders.

In addition, who would have ultimately won the game?

Step aside, rusty old Big Iron. Let's let 20th century electronics solve this, shall we?

There appears to be an inherent quantum instability in this problem, any computer attempting to solve it will fail.

No. I do not think it would be advisable for me to risk solving it.
