loss of theme

So I used the Conversatron @ Night theme, but whenever I click on any question it goes back to the default theme. The default theme sucks. Fix this.

Did you make sure to check the box next to "my theme choice overrides the theme on posts" in your user settings menu?

Because that's a vital part to the whole "not overriding your theme" process.
