Just to be pedantic: when Night Dragon said "the kids tournament", he might have meant the tournament with the kids in it, rather than the tournament that belongs to the kids. Thus there would be no apostrophe necessary.

Actually, he said "kids tournaments." I was the one to suggest he use the singular, as he's actually only watching one tournament with several matches.
And I'd go into the particulars of bad form and using a double plural; however my regional language settings show that "youse guys" is perfectly acceptible in Schenectady, so I won't even bother.
