Ponderings
I wonder, is the Guinness Book of World Records published by the Guinness brewing company?
I'd look it up on Google, but it seems I've already lost interest in the time it took to type this sentence.
Responses:
Sort of.
The book itself was the brainchild of the brewery, originally devised as a way to settle fact disputes in pubs.
The collection of facts and, eventually, the publishing was done by McWhirter Brothers, Norris and Ross.
So while not directly involved, you can certainly attribute the book to the brewery.
