Wizards

Dodger
Does Wizards not think that Wizards are Wiz so much that they want nothing more than to wiz on them?

But seriously, why does each successive iteration on magic users in D&D and its supplements seem to gimp this class?

Is it, perhaps, that they only really consider balance in a "battle-royal" sense of character on character? I just can't seem to fathom their rationale. Can anyone in the 'Tron shed some light on this topic without resorting to some variation on "You need to date more"? *smile*

Perhaps you would be more satisifed with a non-D&D role-playing system with different class semantics.

Especially when you consider that the rationale behind updating D&D rules isn't based so much gameplay value or balance as it is on selling new versions of the handbooks.

Date more? It's usually a good idea to keep heavy D&D players out of the dating pool.

This thread is an outrage.

Wow.
I don't know if you guys play the game a lot or not, but you sure are heavy players in either case.
