Ned Leeds was the second Hobgoblin. Kingsley brainwashed Leeds into believing he was the Goblin. Macendale was the third Hobgoblin, and really wasn't that clumsy or inefficient. I mean, he was part of that unstoppable force, the Sinister Six! I'm ashamed at Comic Book guys mistake, you're no comic geek!
