My parents have been trying to set me up with a girl — a girl who I find dull and tedious and whose company I generally try to avoid. They've even resorted to deception to get us in the same room at times. They've been trying to get us together for weeks now, and they seem to think I'm kidding when I tell them point-blank that I would like to AVOID this girl as much as possible.
Advice? Suggestions? Cruel mockery?
