The Cynic
Why don't more studios release old TV shows in a sensible DVD format?

I'd love to own the entire MST3k series on DVD. The one company that seems to have the rights to release them only has a few episodes, one at a time, for about $15 each. (As if!)

It'd be great to watch the whole Babylon 5 series, too, but they're not even available.

How about this, you studios release DVD box sets with multiple episodes on a single DVD, and I give you a lot of money. Deal?

See, now here's the thing, you can only fit so much video on a DVD...our episodes are over 90 minutes long! There's no way to put more than one episode on a disc, unless you increase the compression.

Yeah, and we want you do be able view every film scratch, blurry closeup, and terribly produced title sequence in vibrant DVD-quality!

Every pop and hiss delivered in stereo surround!

Crow T. Robot
You may be able to settle for quality merely twice as good as a VHS tape, but our true fans know better!

Tom Servo
Yeah, you're a bad person for even suggesting otherwise.

Crow T. Robot
A bad, bad, person.
