I think it's like putting a "wet paint" sign up. People are going to touch it anyway, just to see. It's human nature.
I don't see why it would be any different for "pure evil".
Yeah, but what if it was different? I mean, if people learned not to touch pure evil, then they could just put 'pure evil' signs up where there was wet paint, and you wouldn't get all those smudge marks.
