'Demolition Man' introduced The Three Sea-shells to us. These miraculous objects are supposed to replace toilet paper in the future. Of course, the movie never got around to explaining how they are used. Could you please do us the favor?

I certainly do not know, but I have watched every non-dystopian futuristic movie since then, hoping to find one that was not only set in the same universe, but which also used the same method of sanitation.
I have high hopes for "The Adventures of Pluto Nash."
