My ex, whom I haven't spoken to in about a year, randomly contacted me the other day, and wants to go out for coffee tonight. Apparently his fiancee broke up with him and his parents are getting divorced, etc. and he wants someone to talk to. Is it wrong of me to go solely to brag about how happy I am now, or am I obligated to go ahead and kill him to put him out of his misery?
