I have the opportunity to enter an essay contest. The essay is about "The Fountainhead" by Ayn Rand. The essay, which can be from 800 to 1600 words, is due on Monday. The main prize is $10,000 cash, and second place is $2,000 cash. I think I can do pretty well; I understand the message of the book better than most people who read it.
However, I'm too tired to write it, and I'm only 200 words into it. I know I'll be this tired the rest of the weekend, but should I get my ass in shape anyway and write the damn thing? It's not like I need the money anyway...
