I recently started programming a computer RPG in my spare time, partly because I like RPGs. It is unlikely that it will be overly impressive, but it will have all the features that I personally want to seen in an RPG.
My problem is this: my cousin wants me to add a part to the game where you dress your character so that you can have different, snazzy-looking costumes. They do this in Ultima Online.
Now, I don't think I would enjoy this feature, but my cousin's actually willing to pay me some money to make a "custom" rpg. So I'd be willing to implement it if I could make it so that it would be moderately fun.
So, in short, is there a way I can implement said feature without turning my RPG into Barbie Fashion Designer?
