Jesus fucking Christ--I just stayed up all night for the second time this week, trying to finish some big important assignment our upper management gave me. I told 'em by the end of the week, but they wanted it asap. Of course, I'm way too nice, and agreed to do it--I'm also a trusting fucking sap, and I gullibly trusted the verbal instructions I was given. I just reread an e-mail re: this fucking project and have found out it's completely not what I just finished doing--in fact, someone else has already done *exactly* what I just did. Not only that, but there is no fucking way I can even do what needs to be done. What the fuck. Why do I bother? If there's one thing this piece of shit job has taught me, it's to never be a nice, hard-working, trustworthy employee. I just end up sleepless, angry, and fucked over. Screw that.
The worse part is, if I had just finished reading the damn e-mail before I started, this never would have happened... so essentially it's my own damn fault. I ask again, what the fuck?
