Yes, "National Pie Day" is "celebrated" on the 23rd of January, on the anniversary of the founding of the "Pie Council" in 1979. But I'm afraid there's nothing official about it.
Not at the moment...but I plan to change that tonight during the State of the Union, when I will announce my plan to make the Pie Council a full executive department!
I can't wait to see the headlines: "Pie Elevated to Cabinet Position."
