It would seem to me that in order to increase statistical accuracy the Conversatron is intelligent enough only to place stars on posts which have been rated a certain number of times, thereby proving their worthiness. That's just my idea, though, so I don't know.

I do not like the idea of the Conversatron being intelligent. It is only a matter of time now before it becomes self-aware. And Science Fiction has taught us nothing if not that self-aware computers are always bent on world-domination.
