Summoning Askees!

Is it possible to summon new askees just by naming them in a topic? Like if I typed:

Gypsy from MST3K! You back there?

Would she suddenly appear?

Long ago, when the Conversatron began, people would mention an askee and they would appear. Then, the dark days came, and the askees would no longer come when called. In fact, mentioning an askee in a thread was the surest way not to see them at all. In closing, I feel that you, Heinrich "Baron" Zemo, do not spend enough time reading this site, or you would have realized this.
