Arrrrghh! Each build I run takes an hour and a half, every time I want to test a tiny bug patch. How can I make the hurting stop?

I know! God! Just imagine working on the networking code for a massive multiplayer project, where each little change requires not only the standard hour-long client build, but also several server builds.

And that's just for your own testing! If you're going to check that code in, you have to do 3 builds of everything (Debug, Release and Final), PLUS you have to update the Makefile and make sure it compiles under GCC on Linux also.
