Troy is 20 years old in 1980, but only 15 years old in 1985. How is this possible?
and yes there is an answer to this. maybe ill tell you someday.

Well, I don't think he means the city of Troy, since it was founded in 3000 B.C. and would be, like, over 1000 in 1980 B.C.

But Crow, remember, Troy was destroyed and reconstructed many times! Perhaps he meant Troy VI, which has been dated to around 1800 B.C. with city walls still in good condition today. That's a bit late, but it's possible he meant one of the successive cities Troy III-V, founded after Troy II was destroyed by fire in 2300 B.C.

Ah, good point Servo. By choosing one of the minor cities founded prior to the well-known Cities of Troy VI, and Troy VII, where of course the famous war was fought, he made the riddle that much more difficult! Bravo!

Yep, heh-heh, I mean, really, because aside from that, who doesn't know the old "B.C. not A.D." years trick? Even though, of course, they didn't use such numbering systems at the time. But anyhoo, you've got to get up pretty early in the morning to put one over on us robots. We know pretty much every mind-twister in the old book, yessiree.
