Hey, if "White Holes" spew forth matter and energy, doesn't this solve the problem of Heat Death?

Yes, if they existed. They do, however, violate the 2nd law of Thermodynamics. While General Relativity is time-symmetrical (a white hole is nothing more than a black hole 'reversed' in time), the Universe itself is not. It seems that it would be impossible for a white hole to exist unless our Universe is linked with another by an Einstein-Rosen bridge.
At that point, however, this becomes more a discussion for Sliders fans than serious Physicists.Average rating: 4.55
