I'm taking a CS class next semester. The main reason was because I want to learn, but the other reason is because, CS guys are my kinda guys. So I was wondering, do you think this is a good plan? Or am I going to be ignored by guys who find a computer more interesting than me?

It could work. Sure, there'll be the guys that will pretty much completely ignore you, but there'll also be some nice, well adjusted geeks. The trick is just to clue them in that you're "available".

And once you get them..... that's when they'll start to pay more attention to their computers. It's a vicious cycle.

Of course! And trust me, there are geeks who would appreciate you very much. The trick is to go for the "non-shelled" geeks. Those who don't have a psychological shell they always retract into. Look for the more outgoing, talkative ones. The ones who don't have a problem keeping up half a conversation.
