I'm behind a firewall here at school. The only way out seems to be a HTTP proxy. Do you know any way to get through this to telnet? I tried http tunnelling and it didn't seem to work very well, but perhaps it was just the program I was using. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Look, that firewall was put there to protect yourself and others, I wouldn't advise trying to route around it.
