Did you know that "dismissively" isn't a word? I was working on an essay in StarOffice (cuz Chix Dig Linux) and it got the red underline and no spelling correction suggestions, so I checked dictionary.com and there's no "dismissively" listed, *and* no adverb form listed on the page for "dismissive."
Why isn't "dismissively" a word? Can we contact Noah Webster about this?
