I think that it's spelt "poseur". While both spellings are appropriate, poser has more than one meaning, making your sentence confusing to those who don't know what a "poser" is. If it were to be spelt poseur, then the person could easily look up one word in the dictionary, instead of finding a massive chain of unhappiness.
