How can anyone stand to type in qwerty?

I remember the original //c had a switch on it, that allowed you to change the keyboard to a Dvorak layout, but you had to pop off all the keys.
But people would go to other people's systems and press the switch, and the people typing would just get gibberish, because the keys were still in a qwerty layout.
I have to admit, it was pretty funny.
