Am I a hypocrite for shelling out $30 for a movie that's about freeing yourself from your inane existence by ridding yourself of all your worldly possessions and preconceived notions?

Well, would it make you feel any different to find out that the movie made bank and for all practical purposes was just a vehicle for another large corporation to amass more value?
I still felt that in the final light of day we should've given instructions for the projectionist to burn the film and hand out random books to the audience instead.
At least we got the concession stand attendants to pee in the butter for all of the showings.
