Woman vs. Geek

I just saw an article which stated that Cons are becoming less "geeky" because more women are attending them. Lots of chicks = higher woman-to-geek ratio = less geeky.

...but aren't those just the geeky chicks? Doesn't the geekiness stay the same, except that sometimes the geeks get it on?
