I just saw it, and overall it was pretty good. However, it was too short and the end was sort of a let down. Still, it was far better than Akira.
I've heard people say how insightful and philosophical the movie is. While I suppose it's more intellectual than the Matrix, it's hardly "Critique of Pure Reason".
