Oh Mighty Conversatron, I beseech you to give your humble student an answer to this question of the ages, and enlighten all who gaze upon it.
In the begining, there was the Usenet Oracle, which beget the Forum 2000? Then the Forum 2000 beget the Conversatron, who also had a twin brother who is slightly deformed, The True Meaning Of Life. Is there any other evolutions which I have missed in the search for the truth? And what has happened to the creators of these mighty and once worshiped idols? Did they achieve enlightenment and go to Nerdvana, or did they simply become bored and get a job?

Right! It spawned the Usenet Oracle, and we saw that it was good. But oh no, it doesn't stop there, although it really should! The Usenet Oracle changed its name to "Internet" and that put it on the map. It spawned several "Ask a Guru" sites, and lots of other crap.

The Oracle spawned others, all around the Earth. One met up with ELIZA, and to Forum 2000 they gave birth! Now, the Forum was a hoax...or was it? Our heads can only shake. But whatever way you slice it, the Fake Forum was fake!

Now, sit tight little readers, because we're swinging into high...For the some thought the Forum was growing weak, sometimes they didn't even try! So the Conversatron came later, and was it ever lame...and it had hosting problems, so it shut down...

What a shame. But then it came back to life! And soon after it was joined by the True Meaning of Life. But then Forum2k vanished, we were so sad we almost cried. Then Forum 2010 showed up, and just as soon, it died.
