I've been reading Arthur C. Clarke's "The Light of Other Days". To summarize, in it a new technology is developed that allows people to see anything that has ever happened anywhere, and the effects it has on society. Pretty interesting.

Whoa! That reminds me of this comic I read where they could look at famous people back through time and watch them, but all the people went crazy because they thought they were being watched, and it turns out they were, by these scientists guys.
